Squad Week Final Whistle: The USMNT Is In, and the Roster Picture Is Nearly Complete

Day 13 until kickoff

The last major squads are landing, and the 2026 field is almost fully assembled. Here's where things stand, country by country.

United States — Mauricio Pochettino has named his 26-man roster, with Tyler Adams and Antonee Robinson both included alongside Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, and a returning Gio Reyna — the Qatar 2022 drama firmly in the rearview mirror, apparently. Player Spotlight: Gio Reyna — At 23, Reyna gets his redemption arc: named to the USMNT squad after the ugly fallout from Qatar, he'll need to prove the controversy is ancient history and that his talent was always worth the bet.

Host City Note — The US opens Group D against Paraguay on June 13, with Australia and Turkey to follow — three matches, three chances for a home crowd to make Pochettino's squad feel the weight and the joy of playing on home soil.

Countdown Corner

The 2026 USMNT roster includes players from 14 different clubs across 9 countries — a snapshot of how thoroughly American soccer has gone global since the 2002 generation. One of those clubs is Club America, making Alejandro Zendejas one of the rare players representing a host nation while playing his club football in that same host nation.

The tournament kicks off in 13 days. The rosters are in. The groups are set. It's almost time.
